Life-giving Electrons

The dipolarity between the electrically positive cell nucleus and the electrically negative cell membrane creates an electrical field. If the electrical field is destroyed, their electrical charge is removed, and over time, the dipolarity between the cell nucleus and the cell membrane dies and the battery becomes empty. The symptoms of a dead battery are always seen with the manifestation of conditions such as tumors, cancer or excessive growth. To recharge the battery of life, we need electrons to get the current moving again.{1}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, p. 18.

Electrons have a great affinity for oxygen – they love it. That is why, in us, they thrust for the surface. They attract oxygen and stimulate our breathing – our entire being.{2}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, p. 33.
– Dr. Budwig

All life processes and vital functions are governed by the exchange of electrons. The movement of energy in the electron cloud creates the electromagnetic field of the cell membrane. The cell membrane controls the exchanges between the internal and external environments of the cell. If the cell membrane is damaged or does not function properly, it could lead to disease or the starvation and death of the cell. Thus, membrane functions are essential in all the vital functions.{3}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, pp. 54-55.

As an example, diabetes mellitus type 2 is a disease resulting from the inability of the cells to receive glucose from insulin. Despite my searching (although not too extensively), I have yet to read a satisfactory scientific explanation for the cause of the cells’ resistance to insulin (lifestyle correlations and genetics are not causes). Decades of diabetes research have not provided an answer for the cause of insulin resistance. But clearly, the insulin receptors on the cell membranes are not working properly, so it is not difficult to surmise that diabetes type 2 is due to a malfunction of the cell membrane. Therefore, wouldn’t it be quite interesting if the answer lies in the simple explanation of a deficiency of fatty acids, electron clouds and electron energy exchange across the lipoid layer of the cell membrane? Insulin, after all, is a protein. (Dr. Budwig had mentioned that the basic problem of diabetes is an impairment of the fats metabolism system, not the inability to assimilate sugar, which is secondary.{4}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, p. 12.)

A cross-section of the phospholipid bilayer of the cell membrane showing two rows of phospholipids, molecules made of a diglyceride of fatty acids, a phosphate group and an organic molecule. The membrane contains other lipids such as cholesterol and glycolipids, as well as proteins. The cell membrane is also known as the plasma membrane or the lipoid membrane. It is in the cell membrane that the lipids (fatty acids in the form of phospholipids, cholesterol, lecithin) reside. They make up its physical structure and for this reason, it is vital that the lipids we consume are not damaged or denatured. Here, the cis configuration of the fatty acids is crucial to the integrity of the cell membrane (actually, it is crucial everywhere) – both structural and functional integrity. The cis form is always richer in energy due to the movement of its pi electron cloud, whereas the trans form, unnaturally straightened in the double bond, stunts the natural movement of the pi electrons, leading to reduced energy and vitality of the cell.{5}Budwig, J. Cancer – The Problem and the Solution, p. 103.

Just as, within the cell there is an exchange of electrons between the cell nucleus and the cell membrane, the outer skin of the cell, there are also parallel exchanges within the living body and the outer surface of the body, the skin. Electron-rich foods tend to move towards the surface, which is important for functions such as the secretion of mucous, capillary activity of the blood and lymph fluid, and for the elimination of wastes through the bladder, intestines, skin and hair.{6}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, p. 32.

Electrons pull us up and away from the earth towards the sun. People who eat electron-rich foods tend to feel lighter, less heavy or weighed down. Electrons take away the weight from heavy matter; they lighten the pull of the earth, the pull of gravity, and make the body and spirit soar towards the heavens.{7}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, p. 33.

A lack of electron-rich foods in the diet leads to reduced vitality and functions of the body, including respiratory and glandular function. Through her study of quantum physics, Dr. Budwig learned that the more developed an organism is, the richer it is in its level of electrons. Therefore, no organism has more electrons than human beings; but this also means that no organism is more badly harmed than is man when electrons are lacking in his diet. “The more highly evolved a creature is, the more sensitive the animal, the organism, the living body and thus the human is, to the withholding of electrons or to the harmful effects of chemicals which disturb the exchange of electrons.”{8}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, pp. 36-37.

Sunlight

Sunlight activates the depositing and storage of solar electrons in the body. The human body is like a battery, a storage depot of electrons from the sun, with positive and negative electrons in continual motion. The living body absorbs, stores and further conducts electrons continually. The physicist Friedrich Dessauer wrote: “If it were possible to increase the concentration of solar electrons tenfold in this biological electron-rich molecule, then man would be able to live 10,000 years.”{9}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, pp. 37-38.

Solar energy electrons are both wave and matter. Everything in matter has a natural frequency. Electrons vibrate on their own wavelengths. The living body also has its own vibrations and natural frequency. The living body can only absorb the sun’s rays through resonance absorption. To absorb solar energy, the body’s electron system must match the sun’s system of wavelengths – i.e. the living body must have the same wavelength or multiplicity of wavelengths as solar electrons.{10}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, pp. 38, 48.

Through her work in quantum physics, Dr. Budwig discovered that the highly unsaturated fats of seed oils have their own electric fields of electrons absorbed from the sun. Flaxseed oil, with the highest number of pi electrons absorbed from the sun, is the most optimal oil because the wavelengths of the electrons in flaxseed oil match the wavelengths of the sun’s electrons. These electrons are precisely what the human body needs and what are lacking in the modern diet. Through the consumption of foods rich in solar energy, we receive the resonance absorption for the sun’s system of wavelengths and in turn can absorb solar electrons.{11}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, p. 49.

And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
– Genesis 1:3

Light, created on the first day of the Creation.

Photons

Light is the source of all energy. The source of power and energy in all vegetation, plants bearing seeds, fruit-bearing trees, food, oil and coal, comes from the sun’s radiation. Sunrays reach the earth through light. The smallest measurement of light is the photon. The photon is the tiniest particle of sunlight – the purest form of energy and the purest wave. Being light, the photon is both wave and matter. The physicist Louis de Broglie proved this duality of states of the photon. The photon is also the foundation of Max Planck’s and Einstein’s quantum theory. Einstein had proven that the photon is always accompanied by electromagnetic fields.

Electrons love photons. Electrons attract and capture photons by means of their electromagnetic fields.{12}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, p. 47. The living body that has electrons that are on the same wavelengths as the sun’s system of wavelengths can capture photons. To capture photons is to capture the sun’s energy.

Dr. Budwig recognized the interaction between pi electrons and photons in highly unsaturated fats and their resonance with solar energy. Seed oils, with their wealth of electrons absorbed from the sun, also store photon energy. The more photons there are stored in the seed oils from sunlight, the greater is the electromagnetic force and the electron energy transfer across the hydrogen bridge in the interplay with sulfur-containing protein. When we eat foods rich in electrons that come from the sun, we can in turn attract the electromagnetic waves of photons.{13}Budwig, J. Flax Oil As a True Aid Against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer and Other Diseases, pp. 47-48.

Photons in the electron cloud transfer their energy to the living substance in the interplay with matter. According to Dessauer, the human body can store more solar energy than any other life form.{14}Budwig, J. Cancer – The Problem and the Solution, pp. 106-107. Thus, the human body is a depository of photon energy. Man has the highest concentration of stored photons from the sun’s energy, more than anything else on earth.

The photon transfers something of the nature of light to the living being. To capture the photon is to capture the source of light. The photon is active, dynamic, and powerful, always in movement. It is timeless. The photon exists in eternity because it is the quantum of light, and light is eternal. There is nothing faster than light. To capture light is to capture something of the eternal.
